Falmouth Hospital Volunteering
Be a part of Cape Cod Tradition...Volunteer at Falmouth
Hospital Falmouth Hospital opened its
doors on May 28th, 1963, but its volunteers/auxiliary had been flourishing long
before that day. Founded in 1957, these special people have continuously
supported Falmouth Hospital by offering their compassionate and caring services
to our patients and hospital staff.
Volunteering provides a sense of accomplishment and an opportunity to
continue the tradition of caring that distinguishes Falmouth Hospital as one of
America ’s Exceptional Hospitals. Each volunteer participates in a
thorough orientation process that introduces them to both the philosophical and
operational practices of the organization. The new volunteer is often paired
with an experienced person who helps them to feel comfortable and confident with
the services they will be providing.
From age 13 on volunteerism crosses the life span and enriches the lives of
those who receive their services, as well as those who give of their time
and talent.
