Interpreter Services
Welcome Cape Cod Healthcare is committed to clearly and
thoroughly communicating with all patients and their families about the care we
provide. Cape Cod Healthcare welcomes our limited English proficiency and deaf
and hard of hearing patients and has special services to help you access our
health care services.
You have the right to a medical interpreter at no cost.
To help ensure a smooth hospital stay, please let your doctor know in advance
about your language. If you need an interpreter while in the hospital, please
contact your nurse and doctor and ask them to page or call for an interpreter.

We can help with the following:
- Request a Medical Interpreter
- Make, confirm or cancel an appointment
- Find information regarding a family member admitted
to Cape Cod Hospital or Falmouth Hospital

The Interpreter Services Department working hours
are:
- Cape Cod Hospital: Sunday – Saturday 7am 11pm
- Falmouth Hospital: Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm
Resources and Services for deaf and hard of hearing
patients: We will request an interpreter through the
Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing upon your arrival to
the hospital. Staff can call the Interpreter’s office for assistance at: Cape
Cod Hospital: 508-862-5519/5524 Falmouth Hospital: 508-457-3849
We also have a video unit available that can provide ASL interpreting through
video. There are TTY pay phones at the entrances of both hospitals. You can ask
your nurse for a TTY phone if you are admitted. Our goal is to make sure we
care for you.

Parking: We have parking available to patients
and visitors at both hospitals. Cape Cod Hospital offers Valet parking, simply
drive to the main entrance of the hospital and they will park the car for you
and give you a ticket.
Cape Cod Hospital Shuttle: CCH offer a free bus
service to and from the main campus and the various locations in the area.
